Comprehensive Summary

To develop a prototype for the effective implementation of virtual reality (VR) technology for enhanced Cultural and Heritage virtual tourism experience in Malacca, Malaysia through the use of drones (UAV).

Project Justification

It is imperative that the local tour operators continue to provide high-quality sight-seeing experience using immersive technology in an efficient and effective manner so that the industry can sustain economically during a crisis such as the pandemic. Hence, there is a dire need for commercially viable immersive technology by not only making it accessible and affordable but also the practicality in implementing this technology by tourism industry players nation-wide.
